Water levels continue to fall on Falcon.. And it has the fish in a eating mood.. Great numbers of fish have been reported the last few days, despite of winds that are uncomfortable to fish in..
Flipping fish are in the trees in a lot of areas, and fish are on points are all over the lake.
If you like flipping, target hardwoods in four to eight feet of water. Shady sides of the trees..
Carolina rigs on rocky points and drops are catching big numbers of fish. There are a lot of small fish in the mix, but every now and then you will smack a biggun.
Smaller baits on the Carolina rig like a baby brush hog, super fluke, and centipedes are good choices.
And if you are a dropshotter, well that is working good as well. And you need to have a square bill on the deck, for when you see a bunch of chasing fish.
Pierces, Tigers and State Park cove are all good.. And any other rocky areas can be holding fish.
The water is warm and the fish are very active.. And freakin mean..
Typical summertime fishing..
Come get you some..

Thanks James! Haven't been down in a while but your report got me thinking.
