I am guilty of letting my weight box become a tangled mess of random weights and jig heads. Rarely did I know what I was using unless it was at the extreme of the weight spectrum. Not anymore though, use this tip to help keep your weights organized for this fishing season.

I was asked about putting the weight size on the lid, so I figured I would explain my reasoning for not using the lid. The biggest reason is that when you lift the lid on your box, the weight tag is no longer there at the weights...it has moved with the lid. So I just found it easier to put it on the bottom.

I am interested if how others may store their weight?

My weights are in my hook box as I only use 4 different ones.
1/8 - 3/8 - 1/2 and heavy Drop Shot in 1 oz.

Now hooks are a different story. They are everywhere and will crawl over into the next compartment. I don't know how they do that. roflmao

Good tip, Donald I used to have that same problem with hooks migrating, I got some E6000 clear glue from Walmart and glued down all the little removable tabs so they hooks don't go underneath them. DANGER DANGER DO NOT USE SUPERGLUE!!! lol I found out that if u use superglue to glue ur removable tabs down it will dust all of your weights and hooks and it will look like a superglue bomb went off in your hook box.

Picture popcorn2

I tried regular glue before on the tabs ...took care of the bottom side, but they still go over the top. Plus they started to crack and stuff after awhile.
