Haven't been out fishing in years. Finally getting some time to head down to Port A/Mustang Island. With all the storms and development in recent years. Is Packery Channel North and the beach all the way to Mustang Island Jetty South accessible? Or is it all wiped out? Still decent fishing in those that area or are they heavily fished out? Any tips or insight appreciated.

Both sides of packery are fully accessible. The beach is fine. Port A jetties may have taken some damage, but certainly the inshore parts are accessible.

Now can you camp on those two area's or does it washout during High Tide? Or am I looking elsewhere if I want to beach camp?

The jetty boat boat is back running to the north jetty, same schedule. The south jetty was scoured out where the parking used to be, so its a little walk to get there.

You have to be a little careful about choosing your camping spot on the beach as it was scoured flat by the hurricane, and is just starting to rebuild.

There are hotels and motels back operating, so getting a room is an option if you dont like what you see on the beach. It would also help the local economy a bit.
