Headed down next weekend. Does anyone have a report on how the fishing is around Sea Isle, Sportsman, and San Luis Pass?

I believe the San Luis Pass area is closed for wading. The fish are in the surf but fishing has been sketchy with the Rip Currents and choppy conditions. Wind direction and it's speed will play a big part. Good luck

Trout are in the surf during low tide....22-23" range Water temp in the low 70's which is good. You guys wading and night gigging....the stingrays are out. Make sure you slide your feet along the bottom. If you step on one,all hell may break loose and you'll be on your way to the nearest ER.
