Lots of good jigs on the market today but for the money you cannot beat this one. Good strong hook, weedguard is angled right, dual rattles (put a drop of superglue on them) and lands upright most of the time when it hits bottom.

I haven't caught a Monster on one yet but I did catch a 15.0 on this exact 1/2 oz jig. Color was WM/Pumpkin.

I love throwing jigs but some days they just do not want it so I quit trying to force feed it to them all day. When they are on a jig bite you can have an awesome day.

I normally use a Zoom Chunk but will also use a Paca Craw chunk. Don't over analyze it. Some of the biggest fish I ever caught on a jig, I just stuck whatever was lying on the floor of the boat. When I caught my 15, I had threaded a used Zoom worm on back.

I caught a 12 with a Zoom horny toad on there. It doesn't have to be pretty. It just has to be in front of one when they are ready to eat. That means we need to be out there fishing right now instead of sitting on the sofa pecking on my silly laptop!!
