Got out today on the water and could tell my Lowrance GPS Point 1 wasn't working, I selected satellite under settings and the Point 1 wasn't even an option anymore for some reason. I have had the Point 1 now for over a year and this has never been an issue. Can anyone give me any advice on the matter?

Menu/settings/Networking/DataSources...

Then check to see what's selected in GPS...

see if PT1 even shows up as an option.

No it doesn't even show up as an option anymore, that's what I don't understand.

Did you check the nmea network fuse??????????????????

Then check the T connection to make sure it’s still connected.

You start with the basics and work your way to the point1, basic trouble shooting 101.

Fuse is good, connections are connected, gps point 1 is showing up and device list but still not as an option under gps source. Network is working, I even upgraded the gps point 1 and still nothing

For what it is worth.

My Pt-1 broke after about a year. It was fine the trip before and next trip it wasn't. Same as what you are describing. Did all the things mentioned. Lowrance sent me a new one for $99. I find it hard to believe an almost all electronic device can fail as it did. Before sending it in, I had taken it apart thinking something must have gotten jolted and become loose. I had been in real rough water returning to the ramp at a 2017 Crappie Masters tournament. I didn't see anything loose or unsoldered, etc. I think it is a real bummer lasting only a year. IMO, they should have replaced it free except for S/H.

I replaced the antenna and now it is working again, so I guess that was the issue. Only had the antenna roughly about a year.
