Yea there just the Japanese version of the Calais, identical reels with different names except sometimes they have different handles. Great reels, I use one on my frog rod. I actually fished it today, forgot I had it on my frog rod.

I sold mine due to the bulkiness of the reel but it by far the smoothest reel that even rival the Calcutta Conquest. Cast like a dream too!
