 Finally broke Double Digits

Well, I finally did it. Fishing the wednesday night tournament with my Uncle who really introduced me to fishing. Our first tournament together was going very slow.. I was throwing a drop shot and I NEVER throw drop shots to give you an idea. About 30 minutes before dark and we pull up to a little clump of trees main lake in 2-8 feet of water. He was throwing a shakeyhead ( trying to catch unders) and i decided to make a couple flips with my texas rig. About the fourth flip this monster 10 pound 8 ounce fish hammered it. Short fight after i ripped her out of the oak tree she was sitting in and we got her in the net. Won Big Bass and half of the Super bass pot taking home $240!! An evening I will remember forever.
