Looking good. Hope you know my wife is mad at you, now I have the urge to build me a cricket house again.

When I was growing up there was something called an ant farm that you could buy. you ould see into the side of it. and arch the ants working. If I'm watching The Crickets, are kind of the same thing. Each one has its own personality. Well except for the pinheads they're so small I can't see what they're doing

Our box growing up was 4' deep at the back 3'-6" at the front and 8' long. It had a 2" white oil based stripe at the top to keep them from climbing out of the box. It had a hinged shingled roof with a counter weight just like a good smoker. Had cut outs on all sides that we would open in the summer that had screen over the inside. Had a street top we put on in the summer to keep the birds out. Used a wooded box about the size of a shoe box with damp peat moss as a laying bed. We never had to buy crickets except to get started and my dad fished all the time. Sure do miss him and those good times. I will see if I can find any pictures of it when I get the time.
