Ive been on the salt for the past 15 years and have made a decision to concentrate mostly on my first love of fresh water fishing. Im in sales so I have a very flexible schedule...which means I can get out on the water a lot. I live in Pasadena and am wanting to find a few spots on Lake Houston and Lake Conroe I can fish...not looking for honey holes...but would welcome someone on the boat to help me navigate some tracks to fishable areas safely.

I have a 25' 6" Majek Extreme w a 250 SHO...its a great fishing rig. I have not totally converted it to bass fishing yet but should be there in a few months...

Im looking for someone who knows the lakes and wouldnt mind a day trip out of one of the marinas or ramps to point me in a direction that is a fit for my boat. I can find fish so Im not looking for your hot spots...but I dont want to tear my boat up or put a partner in harms way by not knowing an area.

If anyone is willing to help an ole boy out, Id appreciate it. Wednesday is looking good weather wise so I was hoping to get out on the lake then...I can be reached at Eight32 Five74 Two902 if anyone is interested...

Thanks

BobbyG

Well, I may can help you with Lake Houston since I live on the lake. Conroe is a [censored] shoot. That is the most demanding lake in the state. I have pretty much quit fishing it because it pissing me off so much. There are only a couple of boat ramps on lake Houston that you can use. With the recent floods, the channels have moved around a bit but I can still get around. There are some nice fish coming out of Houston recently. The boat traffic on the lake right now is not bad so this is a good time to start riding around to find your way. I can go just about any evening but my weekends are pretty tight as I fish Rayburn or a couple of other lakes every other weekend. Let me know if you are available in the evenings and I will go with you.
