I wear mine 100% of the time. It's not like it hurts you, and it might save your life. I can swim very well but you can't swim if you get knocked out either by the ejection from the boat (running over a stump with the trolling motor will do it) or by hitting something in the water. I'd rather come home alive than look 5 lbs thinner by not wearing it.
