Anyone fish Sam Rayburn yesterday? A steady unrelenting North wind greeted us as Cassells-Boykin. We stayed in Pophers creek area trying to avoid gust. Started outside edges in 10-15 feet throwing cranks catching fish. moved against banks creating small wind breaks fishing till noon. water temps 62-66, blue bird skies, with moon phase indicating a strong bite. Caught fish steady but nothing over 3 pounds. Very few boats out. So was the strong moon phase countered by blue bird skies skies and strong north winds? Was it anglers unwilling to cross dangerous conditions to better areas? Or a combination of multiple factors? My vote multiple factors as is the case each time chasing Bass.

A lot of tourneys on Saturday all over the state. It's tough to subject yourself to that two days in a row.
