Huh. Just did a 'what if' of Austin to London. $1,550 for premium cabin ... not bad!

The prices above are their Low Fare rates= no check in bag and no meal and smaller seat You are allowed a carry on and a personal item (as long as the sum of those two is under 10kg (22lbs)
With low fare plus I believe they limit you to one check in
And one meal instead of two
Then theres the premium farebigger seat, two bags and two meals and drinks

I tried to book from Austin to Singapore.
Only had fligts there for around $600, no inbound flights
I can get that price on any airline from DFW for round trip about 1K
|

As with any low cost airline, the catch is if there are any equipment problems which result in delays or cancellations, youre screwed
