My boat came with one.
Ive turned it on and had my front unit showing down sonar and have seen fish come right up to check it out. Im guessing catfish or something.
Ive also been fishing near bait balls on fork and turned it on and they FLAT completely surrounded my boat as visible on the 360 and then would move basically some place around my boat until I turned it off which they dissipated and then I turned it back on and they came back..
I dont know if it helps catch more fish I didnt catch any either of those above times.
I dont like it I feel like its one more thing I need to mess with and wonder if its on the right volume, noise, delay etc..
The speaker just quit working and I removed it, Ill likely send it in and get a speaker and sell it. Get in touch with T H Marine. They replaced mine for free. Sent it to them and they put new cords on it free... thanks
