MY club has looked at the typical motels (6, Hampton Inn, etc) around Naconiche? However, none seem to have adequate boat parking......where have ya'll been staying that is safe and boat friendly?

Thanks in advance.....Jim

Lake Naconiche Resort has cabins, lots of safe boat parking and is about 1 mile from the boat ramp ($5 fee). I had a great experience there. I don't know if he can acomodate your whole club (has 4 total cabins I think) but worth a try.

I think there are some on the loop around nacogdoches that have outside rooms. Probably 15 min away.

Yes, we were there yesterday and some friends are staying in the "cabins."

Entry fee: $5 per auto/trailer plus its driver, and add $1 for every other person in the vehicle > 13 years of age.

Yesterday? Windy, cold, slow fishing for us though we caught several bass. I heard from my friend last night (they are still there) and they caught 10 or 12 including two over 8 lbs. on the dam end of the lake.

I don't envy them being out on the lake today. Colder and maybe even windier!

Brad
