Believe it or not, that is where I caught my first bass that I have an actual memory of.

We lived in North Richland hills at the time and Dad drove me out there. Was probably 7 or 8 years old.

We walked the bank and casted all day long. Caught one little bass on a RoadRunner type bait. I remember offering my pole and lure to Dad because I felt bad he hadn't caught anything all day and took the time to take me fishing.

Anyhow, thought about heading back out there. I see what looks like ski jumps out there. Is it worth fishing anymore?

When I lived n Saginaw I fished it often. Going during the week and fishing the reeds by the ski jump was killer.
