Is that what I’m smelling in Fort Worth this morning? I know there were some in the panhandle yesterday, but were there any that were closer? I guess maybe the wind was strong enough to blow the smell.
I’ve confirmed that my house is not on fire and none of my neighbors have a fire going either.

Didn't y'all get rain yesterday? Seems the dampness wouldn't support fire.
I know in the fall when ranchers are burning off the marsh prairies along the coast we'll get a smoky atmosphere here almost 80 miles away.
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

I got about five drops of rain yesterday. There were several fires confirmed yesterday in Howard County. The panhandle hasn’t had rain in over 200 days.

Increasing property values by lowering the count of mobile homes per acre
Team wolfs I had to perform. It took a minute to get it all in my mouth and another five to swallow it all.

Increasing property values by lowering the count of mobile homes per acre This Oklahoma bashing is uncalled for, unprofessional, and probably bordering on communist behavior. But, this comment is an A+.

OK has an endless supply of mobile homes, tornadoes have been relocating them since the beginning of time. They just keep popping back up.

The spread of cedar trees is a big part of the problem. The farmers are too lazy to take them out.

They said on news 130k acres are burning in Oklahoma. It’s pretty bad. It is way more acreage than that on fire in Oklahoma right now. The Rhea fire alone is over 240,000 acres right now. Here are few of the Texas fires still not controlled: CR26 Fire, Wheeler County: estimated 2,500 acres and 80% contained. Crews are continuing to construct fireline and burn out pockets. The head of the fire has reached the Carbon Fire burn scar. Harbor Fire, Hutchinson County: 1,190 acres, 90% contained. Forward progress stopped. Structures reported as lost. Visit https://twitter.com/BorgerOem or https://www.facebook.com/borger.oem/ for more information. Milliron Fire, Collingsworth County: 29,979 acres, 75% containment. Crews are engaged in fireline construction. Carbon Fire, Wheeler County: 12,530 acres, 75% containment. Crews are burning out pockets and reinforcing line. 206 Fire, Cochran County: crossed into Texas from New Mexico; estimated 49,785 acres with 5,590 acres in Texas, and 95% containment. And a current map of fires over the last 7 days. The red dots are all of the responses from the Texas Forest Service, the blue dots are fires reported only by fire departments.

The spread of cedar trees is a big part of the problem. The farmers are too lazy to take them out. Not too lazy. It cost too much to remove them. About 750.00 an acre to remove, stack and burn. Plus the cost of reseeding. Or if you do it yourself you buy a 30,000 skid steer and a 10,000 cutter. Spend about 60 hours of your time per acre to complete. Either way cedar removal is a deep hole to throw money in.

Either way cedar removal is a deep hole to throw money in. You have to get them before they begin to spread. They're like sandburs. If you get off your azz and dig them up when they first get started, you'll get a handle on them. If not, they'll take over your yard.
