Headed to Amistad for a few days. Any advice on current patterns would be appreciated. Fishing out of Box Canyon Saturday-Tuesday.

We just got down here. Talked to some nice fellows here from Louisiana. They have had a good trip. Filleted ten nice bass a day for 7 days so far. Biggest about 5 pounds.

We just got down here. Talked to some nice fellows here from Louisiana. They have had a good trip. Filleted ten nice bass a day for 7 days so far. Biggest about 5 pounds.  Got to get rid of all the little ones to grow the biggs! Lol!

You should probably call the game warden. Possession limit is 2x the daily bag limit. Not sure how many guys are there, but if there is just two, they're 50 fish over their limit. Lake levels and those types of folks are why that lake is in the shape it is in. Watched a warden bust guys from New Mexico with 120+ fish between 4 guys during the hay day. Two guys left for home that day with their three big coolers. Game Warden says it happens all the time out there. So what that really means is that they cleaned 5 each before lunch and then after lunch they cleaned another 5 each for 20 a day. Edit: lol, guy above was thinking the exact same thing.

Ive done extremely well here, hope this helps especially with the Texas team trail there now. Its shallow though.

Maybe I'll check back after the tournament. We're just fun fishing, but I get everyone being tight lipped before a tournament.

After rereading it, you're probably right. I've seen it too often on both Falcon and Amistad for that to surprise me though.
