Kind of surprised that Douglas wasn't the choice ... bigger venue but a little further from Knoxville. It might be cold.

I lived 10 minutes from the boat ramp by the dam at Fort Loudoun and Tellico for 2 years, what a terrible decision. What an embarassment... They could have went 30 minutes further and fished Watts Bar, Douglas, or Cherokee. Or they could have went an hour more and fished Chickamauga. So many better choices right there under their noses.

Over the many years of reading, hearing, and watching professional bass fishing, I've never seen anything good said about these two lakes. Most anglers with experience on the lakes, absolutely hate them. It'll be a bust for sure.
