Im trying to figure out the best way to mount a power drive v2 to my boat. It does hang over the front some, that part doesnt bother me. If I mount it with a mka 16-03 mount, will it slide back while not in use? It looks like it slides but I can't find anything that says it will.

This is the mount, can it slide back and lock? Or could another hole be drilled in the base to make it slide and hold?

This is the mount, can it slide back and lock? Or could another hole be drilled in the base to make it slide and hold? That slides and locks. Easy to remove the trolling motor if you need to also.

Hello! While this is our first post here, I think you may be interested in a product we developed that fits very well with the need to relocate a trolling motor in a linear fashion. While our system isn't useful to just trolling motors, and is actually a linear bearing system, we have catered somewhat to this particular area initially. Drop by our website at ShuttleSlide and see if it may be useful to you. I've attached a couple pictures from a recent customer install. Let us know if we can help. Best of luck to you!
