The original Premium Plus that I run is not a synthetic blend like it is now. Its a straight two stroke oil make for higher RPM engines.
That red label is for the smaller engines as stated on the label not of use on the big cid engines. Where are you getting you straight two stroke oil for the big cid higher RPM engines?

That's the problem. I am in the same boat as you because I cant find it anymore. That picture is the last of my supply.

Yep...I run in my Pro XS as well and sent back some synthetic blend.
I usually buy a few gallons when I find it.

West Marine has a house brand that im looking at. They have their name on the jug so it's only like 20 bucks a gallon. Shows to have the same additives. If I cant run on to some quicksilver I may jump on the West Marine straight oil. I buy straight quicksilver outboard oil and these people sent me blend. The photo on line shows the jugs in the JCB photo but here comes the blend. I guess they think Im to dumb to know what blend is. You dont just throw synthetic in a 2 stroke like you can in a 4 stroke. Not unless you have read something I dont know about. Which I hope you have and will let me know about it.

My engine has been running 25 years with no damaged to any internal parts. I dont think I have put spark plugs in it but once and it was running good when I did that. I run my engine often. I wore out the spring shackles and had to replace them from dragging it so much. I think this straight oil as suggested by mercery is working out good so far. Just hope I can get hooked up with more of it. Thanks for the replies all.

I'm not sure who told you that is any different than this

same part # as the 2 cycle premium plus bottle, they are the exact same thing one was just made specifically for wal-mart.

We are not interested in a synthetic blend. We are only interested in straight motor oil. Motor oil out of the ground unblinded with synthetic oil. I have been buying straight quicksilver outboard motor oil starting in the late 1970s before they had synthetic or synthetic blend. That is what I want to buy now and this is about trying to locate straight quicksilver oil. I dont understand what you are talking about. I hope you dont blend is the same.

As long as it meets or exceeds Tcw3 I would think you're good, the blended premium plus is the better oil.

Academy in Lufkin has plenty of the red label, but that doesn't help you out in Lubbock...

Not true.
. This statement from boss bowman is not factual. The oil shown by JCB is the actual straight oil only produced by quicksilver. The other type as stated on the front of the jug are blended synthetic and wal mart is not an issue. Please do not be mislead and hurt your engine.
