Hello all Due to 30 mile winds and very bad weather in the forecast we will NOT be fishing tomorrow night. To be honest with the participation on Wed. I�m going to most likely NOT run these any longer. We get 7 to 8 boats and I drive a long way there and home. It�s not worth it for me to get home after midnight and only have this many boat. Bridgeport is my home lake and it�s drawing close to 30 boats every Thursday and EM draws close to as many. I love fishing the vine which is why I kept the Wed. Nights going. I will make my decision after next week and let everyone know. I will continue to host a few opens it seems to draw a better crowd.

Vince was looking for someone to take over running his EM tournament. Would hate to see the Wednesday nighter go away, but might be a good opportunity for you to do something closer to home.

Jacob Parker took over the Tuesday night tourney.

Those fish may be sore lipped tomorrow night with the police games going on out there...

With the group that fishes Wed. Nights it won�t matter. These guys will find them and catch them. We normally only have about 12 or so boats but there�s a lot of good sticks in there especially on the Vine.

Oh I don�t doubt that.. I used to fish those things when Larry Ladner ran them way back in the day, when bass champs ran it and when Scott Gordon ran it. Lots of good local sticks out there...

What�s it been taking to win?

I have a lot of respect for officers and what they do. My wife has been one for over 19 years now. No disrespect for the officers fishing but on Wed. Night the grapevine sticks show up and throw down.

I can see now the initial post was changed to the correct time the tournament was suppose to end. We lost 30 mins of fishing time last night, due to the lack of communication from the TD. Not that we would of won, but 30 extra mins in a 4 hour tourney is a lot of time. For Future reference make sure all anglers are aware of the changes.

Darnit! The one night I skip I miss my chance to fish against the Justin Dubose!

They had 8.14 Took almost 26LBS to win Norris and Ziober and 15lbs to Lain and Goodwin.

I made all anglers aware I yelled it out numerous times that last cast was 9:30. You guys seem to be the only ones that did not hear me. If you didn�t hear me then my apologies. But I was dealing with a motor issue and you guys showed up before 9pm to load I told you guys last cast was 9:30. You choose to load your boat. It�s Grapevine you can drive that lake in like 4 minutes. You could have dropped your T:M and fished right there. Many tourneys won this year on dive loop ramp. I�m not making any excuses but I can only yell so loud and again you guys apparently out of all the boats didn�t hear me.

There will not be a tournament this wed. In celebration of the 4th of July. See you all in two weeks.
