Fished Fayette County Lake yesterday with friend Lloyd Trice from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. Water temp had dropped 7-8 degrees since last Monday. It was 69-70 degrees and lake at full pool & slightly stained. Didn't take enough clothes & froze to death for the 1st half of day. Was also pretty windy til about 4:00 pm. All in all a good day. We got 10 big red ear, and 46 bass. Bass were mostly in the 2 lb range, but had a few over 3. Red Ear were mostly in the 1 lb range with 3 going 1.2 lbs. Most bass caught on Culprit 7.5 inch plastic worms & Red Ear came on night crawlers fished on the bottom. Red Ear had moved about 50 yards from where they were last week, but once you find one, there are always more in the same spot...All fish released.
