Went to Dunlop for the first time to try to figure out a new body of water. Just one of those things that I will do every couple of months. Found that the lake was not as deep as I was thinking it would be. We found 4 dink large mouths and a bunch of blue gills. Was not able to find much of anything else but the wind was blowing like crazy, it shifted 3 times on us. I will be looking forward to some more trips there to figure the lake out. Most everyone even the dock fishermen were complaining about it being slow fishing.

Dunlap was a great little lake 10 years ago. I think all of the boats/pressure from the Canyon Lake Thursday nighters really hurt it. Definitely not what it used to be.
