I am heading with a group of 6 fisherman down to Cedar Creek for 5 days of fishing. I have never fished Cedar Creek before. Any advise for a weekend warrior on Cedar Creek? We will be there in 2 weeks. Any advise is appreciated. Thanks fellas.

Headed out there Thurs - Sun this week also. Staying on South End of the lake, and weather doesn't look like its going to be the best(40MPH gust at times)...hopefully it changes, fingers crossed.

Don't think it will change. With a front coming in Friday night the wind always blows the few days leading up to and a few days after it passes. Like clockwork.

Lake is clearing up in some areas. Not saying it is clear by any means but a lot better than it was a few days ago. I have not been south of Lynn Creek but typically the further south you go the clearer it gets. We have had a North/East wind the last few days so that is helping the East side clear up quicker.

Headed down tomorrow to fish Friday and Saturday. Any suggestions would be appreciated, never been on the lake for Bass fishing. Bait colors preferred type of plastic, type of rigging and suggestions.

Big wind on cedar creek will get dangerous quick if your not careful, those retaining walls don't mess around

Purtis Creek and then Athens are right down the road, just saying.

See you on the lake and have a great day!
