Anyone fished that area. Looking for a couple places for kayak fishing.

Most of the immediate flats north of the airport are going to be too shallow, even in a kayak. The flats to the west of the canals/airport before Pelone Islands are good for floating. Continuing west to East Flats is another option or a slight north to Little Flats as well. I've had better luck in the Spring and Fall.

The caliche road along the south side of Wilsons Cut has been cut off since Harvey, but you can still launch at the boat ramp at the end of Wilsons Cut.

Where is the ramp at Wilson's cut? Can't figure it out on Google Map. How far is it from the ramp to Shamrock Cove by kayak? Thanks.
