Texas Outboard Rebuild in 7 points. Good because they rebuilt a motor for me and it was flawless.

I think I would probably look into getting a factory rebuild.

This thread is not about me getting my motor rebuilt and if I should get a factory reman ..... but rather about what REBUILD shops in the Texas market are good, efficient, cost effective and fast ........ or NOT.
Which ones don't do what they advertise

No need to be a dick. I’m sure you’re looking for a cheap way out so you can post for sale and let the Next guy deal with it but no need to be rude to someone offering their advice

Before you get your panties in a wad it would help of you let us know what motor and what extent is the damage. In some cases the damage is too much to rebuild and a factory remanufactured is more cost effective.

This dude has made like 3 threads on the issue.

He couldn’t afford a reman since they’re 10k. And can’t find someone to get it running good enough so he can stick some fool on Craigslist or some kid with daddy’s money

👍☹️ bang
Getting a blown motor fixed is one of the most exasperating things there is to do.
My issue is solved. I am just trying to find GOOD - REPUTABLE shops that others can use when they have the same issue
Have a nice day !!!
