A good combination yesterday for a little slab slinging. We put 23 in the cooler with only a few throwbacks. Water temp on Murvaul is around 67 and it's still a bit dirty from the recent rains but the level is a lot better. Some fish were still in their party colors so we tried the shallow bite before calling it a day and had some luck there as well.

Planning on trying something similar this coming Sunday myself only I believe I’ll see what they think about a mr crappie shadpole. Water is still cold. Good looking mess of fish

Good to see you sporting some nice photos, of catching results and on regular sized baits?...and on Murvall...and to think, Troy said bring bass sized baits!
Nice sized mess of fish, you are showing...looking forward to the GTG even more! Thanks for the report!

Last time I was on Murvaul,I fished with Jacob a year ago. We don't know anything about this lake so Jacob and I are at a great disadvantage on catching any! But we are gonna try anyway!

Last time I was on Murvaul,I fished with Jacob a year ago. We don't know anything about this lake so Jacob and I are at a great disadvantage on catching any! But we are gonna try anyway! If Jacob brings his ironing board you'll catch plenty.
