Fishing pressure just increased on Fayette County. The move from 14 to 16 will likely lead to more tournaments.

I just don't understand why lakes like Ivie and Alan Henry restrict you to 2 fish under 18", but have no restrictions on fish over 18".

I mean it is a good thing for tournament fishing, but IMO it seems backwards. Seems to me it encourages people to keep larger fish. I'm surely not going to bring home only 2 fish to filet, and I won't bring home a fish over 18 either.

Not sure about Ivie, but I believe Alan Henry could certainly benefit by more smaller spots seeing the electric knife.

This will change up the tournaments on Grapevine a little... only allowed to keep 2 Largemouth under 18" with no minimum length. In order to weigh a 5 bass limit of largemouth you will have to bring in at least 3 fish 18" or over to the scales.
