As I've gotten older my vision is slowly getting worse and sometimes seeing my line has become difficult. I've got a few reels that are due for respooling and I'm thinking of going to a hi-viz yellow, red, or white. The water in my local lakes is murky enough that visibility is a couple of feet at best. Currently I use dark green and black braid and feel the color of the line doesn't really matter. Any thoughts on the bright colors?

The Hi-Viz Yellow is best for line watching in my opinion. Use it on all my spinning reels with a fluro leader! Fixing to start switching some baitcaster this way also.

Hi-vis yellow is your best bet. That stuff is bright!

I've seen that and was wondering about white as well. If anything people would know it was me out there from a distance.

I think you will really like Sufix 832, especially the yellow for line watching. It also holds its color very well. Most people who move over to 832 seem to stick with it as best I can tell.

I really like the yellow! And if you sharpie the last few feet like you did on the green it disappears anyways!

Seems Sufix 832 is pretty popular. Cant wait to try it out next week when I get back from Minnesota. Been up here 3 of the last 5 weeks freezing my butt off. Whopping 22 degrees today and just got 7" of snow a few days ago.

A dull yellow is decent. Have used on spinning reels in the past. Also red is good

Red is the first color to disappear in the water column.

Normally I'd agree with this statement but if you've seen some of the brush in my lake you'd think otherwise.
