Granbury striper fishing continues to be good. Sandbass action has been mixed, with the best action near Hunter Park and upstream. Somedays the bigger stripers show up and somedays there are lots of throw backs. Smaller stripers are generally located on the lower ends. Bigger fish have been from Ports-O-Call to Bentwater. Look for feeding flats in 18 to 25 feet of water for the active predators...
Here are the pics from my last two trips on Granbury.

Awesome information! Thanks for posting. I never fish Granbury since I live over in Abilene but I love looking at a map and trying to understand seasonal behaviors of the fish so I can better find them in my lake. Will you catch the fish in on those 15-25 foot flats all summer too or do they end up closer to the dam?

Are you just finding them scattered on the flats and thumping, or they staying put?

Some days they are scattered and somedays they are more schooled up. Each day is a new adventure. The majority of all the stripers typically move to the lower ends in the summer months. That happens most everywhere. Just have to work the lake.....
