Haven't been on fork since 2012. Going in the morning, been reading guys getting Skunked and others saying it's on fire. My question is what's the best area to start.

Spawning pockets in the major creeks north, mid, and south. Slow down! If you think you are going slow enough with the TM on any speed, slow down some more! Fish are shallow, and I did graph them out to 15 foot, so my assumption is they are in all stages!

South will get you cleared water, but the water is clear enough to see some beds (if not fish on them) between the gator grass and the shore, and some deeper beds are apparent.

Your lake fork guide on YouTube. He’s pretty on top of it.

Coves or pockets with grass are best for me. More fish with better higher Water temp. Flukes, dingers in the grass and behind the grass. 1-5 ft good. Going to be cool in the morning so bite maybe slow till noon or later. Good Luck. See you on the water.

Best area is north of the dam. Sorry, couldn't resist.
