Easter Week

Monday: David and son in law Brian on Lake Palesttine. These guys havent been crappie fishing in a couple of years and wanted to get a jig wet. I told them I knew just the lake!

After a lot of laughs and given each other a hard time we ended the day 30 nice crappie.

Tuesday: Mark and daughter Kaitlyn. They were vacationing from Chicago. With strong winds predicted. Mark wasnt sure if he was going to bring Kaitlyn. But I am so glad he did. This little girl dropped the hammer on some crappie. She caught at least 17 of the 26 total fish of the day. This little girl sure can fish and smiled ear to ear every time she caught one.
Hope you enjoyed your fish fry.

Thursday: Kyle and his buddy Kurt. They fished Lake Fork. These guys wanted to learn how to tournament fish before the crappiefest. So I showed them around the lake. Showed them some things I do. We caught some nice quality fish. I forgot to take pictures.

Friday: Tobey and son Tristen on Lake Palestine. These two both work on a drilling rig and finally had a day off together. It was Tobey birthday. What better way to celebrate your birthday than going crappie fishing. Ended the day with 33!

Saturday: Tony, Darryl and Rex. Booked a full day on Lake Palestine. These three are first cousins and get together every year to fish Lake Palestine. This year they hired a guide, Im glad the did. We caught some nice fish. And had a great time doing it. We had to work for them but we got the job done. Ended the day with a three man limit of 75 crappie!

The fishing is a little tougher than it was last spring. You can still catch some good numbers. All fish caught on BoneHead Tackle Stumpbugs. To be honest I dont think color matters, just got to get it in front of one that wants to bite. And stay on the move!

Thank you all for letting me have the opportunity to be your fishing guide.

If your looking for a crappie trip or any crappie needs please give a call.
