There's that "Festival" word again - the new replacement word for "conclave / tournament / extravaganza?" It gets harder every year to find a catchy name, doesn't it? So far, none of the area's fly fishing events fit the definition of the word. And WHO CARES! Should be good anyway!

Definition of conclave. 1 : a private meeting or secret assembly Fly fishers shy away from the word tournament. Extravaganza - an elaborate and spectacular entertainment or production. Na, that's a bit of a stretch. Just come have fun!

"Lake Athens Fly Fishing Fling" would do the trick.
"Fling" works here as a noun AND a verb. And, it creates an alliteration . . . f/f/f words.
How's that!
