My boat trailer is a bit beaten up. Has anyone else used rhinoliner or anything like that to make your trailer look better? I dont want to have to totally go broke on making it look nice but would like to have it decent.

Did you sand it down or how did you apply it?

Everything you need will come with it. I didn't sand it but I did use metal sponge and then cleaner. Sanding wouldn't hurt, but mine has held up just fine.

Not sure about the newer do it your self liners but I used the herculiner DIY on a truck bed years ago and it wasn't worth the effort, it would not hold up/would gouge and tear easily. Having a real bedliner sprayed in hot is worth the extra $$$ IMO.

Another option is Chassis Saver or POR-15
These are moisture curing urethane paints. Extremely tough paints

I don't know what Legend calls it but my trailer came from them with some sort of textured finish that has held up incredibly well for the last 7 yrs.

Marine Clean in Nacogdoches does a trailer liner. They sandblast the trailer first. It's a great investment

Luke, I have a vendor in Rockwall that will Linex a trailer for $750. But you have to pull the boat and the bunks. He does everything else. I have a spare trailer to put boat on if needed.

I have done several boats with Rhino liner. They came out nice. But after I paid labor, this ended up being a much better deal. The linex product is also a much better finish than the Rhino liner.

I just got a quote over the phone last week from a LineX dealer in Corpus it was like $2,800 and thats with me having it sandblasted and primed. Tack on Sanblasting and priming and for another 1k I can have an aluminum trailer and never have to mess with it

You can also use tractor paint from any implement dealer, they sell a separate expoxy hardener you can add to the paint that makes it extremely durable

The widely available tractor/implement/farm equipment paints are oil based acrylic enamels.

Traditionally, enamel paint hardeners are added to speed drying time and improve finished paint hardness.
Enamel paint hardeners contain solvents (accelerate evaporation) and isocyanates that react with moisture (H20) to form a plastic bond (like when you get superglue on your fingers)

Urethane and epoxy hardeners form crosslinks.

People with lots of painting experience have been known to mix urethane and epoxy hardeners with acrylic enamel paints, but your results may vary depending on experience.

Definitely wear a good respirator when working with paint hardeners or moisture curing urethane paints.
