The bite has been good for moving baits. Squarebill, chatterbait, and spinners in about 4-8feet. Been catching a ton of 3-5s. Slot lake, 14-21", but good fish nonetheless. Walnut Creek was still chocolate milk a few weeks ago, but the main lake has cleared up.

Edit: 9am-10am has been my "power hour". Could just be my fishing style, but around noon they just shut off.

was out there today, first bite and catch was a 6, but i was using a manual scale, i think it was bigger. going to calibrate scale tonight. caught 5 from 0830-100pm, 6, 3, 2 and 2 small ones- big one came on a white w/pepper blue skirt with trailer, 2nd biggest came on a black blue tailed lizard, next came on a red black chatter bait w/trailer, dinks came on a jig head with floating worm. all range in 3 to 6 feet.

I was out there today too.. I caught 8.. 6 1lbers and 2 nice ones.. one at least 4 and one close to 5. I didn't have a scale but they were nice fish. I was drop shotting Zoom Finesse worm in Houdini on main lake points.. roughly on the 6' contour. The lake is up between 8" and a foot as best I can tell. Water temp was 60-62 depending on where you are on the lake. Down by the dam the water is fairly clear and I didn't see any signs of bedding fish up shallow. It might take the full moon at the end of the month for that to happen.

Good Luck
BD

Went today but man was it windy. Got 1 on a square bill in 2 feet of water and called it at after 2 hours. Kids are in town for Easter so needed to get home.
