Well the forecast held true, the wind laid down eventually and the rain held off for what turned out to be a nice evening. I'm sure a lot of people were on the fence due to the weather and that's totally understandable, you never know how things are going to play out this time of year. That being said we are thankful for the 24 diehard anglers who came out last night to give it a go. Those that did come were treated to another busy night on Lake Travis. Just about every team that weighed in had 5 keepers and we had 4 teams with a bag of 5 fish who decided to dump them after they realized they were out of the money (thank you for that by the way!!!). As usual, lots of little fish were reported being caught. You had to run through the dinks to get those bigger bites, but hey, who's going to complain about having to set the hook 40 times in 3 hours???!!!

Congrats to Dave and Don, they bested the field with 17.53 lbs, a beautiful bag of fish. Great job guys!

Pics and results are here:
