I’m new to the area thinking about fishing Lake Buchanan, where should I start looking to catch Bass?

There are fish all over the lake. The biggest thing to know about Buchannan is that there are trees out in the where you wouldnt expect and the lake gets really rough fast. If you use the river channel you will be fine.

Caught 18 Saturday with 8 keepers, two around 4 pounds in about 5 hours of fishing, fished the very back of a creek with Flukes. Had a few on spinnerbaits early, hope this helps. Get out your plow. L.O.L.

It's fishing very well right now. The lake record was caught this past weekend. 11+ pounder. Another 10+ pounder caught the week before
