When i turn left, it takes a hard pull and some leverage to turn. When i turn right. Its smooth, almost no effort to turn right.
So when going straight at 35mph on the water, if i take my hands off the wheel to adjust my hands, the boat makes a sharp right turn. Could be dangerous. Is there anything i can do to fix this issue? Is it common?

It is called steering torque and if the trim tab adjustment does not fix it then try a "Torque Tamer". It goes on the trailing edge of the skeg. I had one I my Ranger but it cost me 200 rpms at WOT so I ditched it. It almost completely eliminated the steering torque. Another fix is hydraulic steering but much more expensive.
