Does anyone have a recommendation for someone in the DFW area who can work on an Optimax fuel injection system? I let the boat sit too long and now it won't run.

Motor is an '06 115. Boat has been sitting approx. 3 yrs. I have siphoned the old gas from the fuel tank, removed and cleaned the vapor separator tank, and installed new filter. I am using a small gas container with fresh gas to fuel the motor. Whenever I crank the motor, fuel will spray from the line that goes into the top of the fuel rail. I've checked the plugs, and all 3 are getting good spark. My guess is the fuel injectors and/or the air injectors are gummed up with stale gas.

Sounds like a possible bad o ring on the on the fuel line connector. Injectors could be stopped up or dirty from sitting but will not cause a external fuel leak only other things the that could cause a external is fuel ine or a damaged regulator diaphragm. Be happy to take a look at it I am lead tech out at Cabela's running about a week, week and a half out....OPTI

That motor has to have over 100psi fuel pressure to run and if you have a leak that`s not going to happen. Get a replacement o-ring.
