I have launched at Katie's Woods and Sandbass Point and both ramps are too flat. I have to back the truck half way into the water to launch or load. If I am fishing by myself I will have to get my feet wet. Which ramps have the proper slope to them?

OK, if you don't care about appearances the cheap solution is to get a couple trash bags and use rope or elastic to hold em up as you wade back and forth to the trailer. Of course for a few dollars more you can look more civilized with hip boots.

Here is my solution. And for those that talk about blocking the ramp, the boat isnt on the ramp any longer than my truck would be if I drove to the dock, tied off and came back to park the truck. I dont use it if launching beside a dock like in the video, but at Grapevine its helpful since the dock isnt on the ramp

Murrell right now is using their deep water ramp. Nice and steep. There normal ramp is very shallow type ramp. Twin coves is OK but not very deep.

Just to clarify....I have owned bass boats longer than many of you have been alive. I didn't ask for, nor do I need advice on how to launch a boat by myself or how to wade in if necessary. If the ramps I asked about looked like the ramp in the video I would not have had to ask the question I did. So...what ramps on Grapevine have a slope like the ramp in the video?

My opinion is do your own research if you're going to act like an [censored]. Or get your feet wet, Nancy.

Wow.... 1) I edited my post and forgot my first sentence of none that I know of. 2) Im 54 years old and highly doubt your claim about owning boats longer than Ive been alive. 3) most of us enjoy posting in an effort to help others. I saw it was your first post and thought Id chime in 4) since youre an A$$, Im gonna block your name and never read nor comment on your posts again. Welcome to the TFF ... You do understand that this is a Public Forum not a paid private conversation? Maybe if you had accepted that people try to answer with options that you might not have known about instead of insulting them and being so demanding that people give you only information that you want to hear, you would have gotten an answer by now.
