Wanting to hit up lake limestone this weekend and run some jugs. I have never been to this lake and have seen plenty of big cats from the lake. Any advice would be helpful of docks and location of good starting point and where to catch life shad!! Thank you

Sorry to get on late here. The lake is still about 3 feet low. You should be able to launch from at least 3 public ramps- NW (off FM 3371), SW (by dam & Ranger/GW station) & SE (by dam). Lake Limestone Marina should be OK. Running Branch Marina might be able to at 3' low. You can call to see at 254-729-5474 (normal waking hours of 8 AM or 9 AM to 5 PM or 6 PM). Sometimes shad come into RB Marina. Once I threw the cast net out 3 or 4 times at camp site area & had about 4 gallons of shad in a 5 gallon bucket. Usually shad or here & there. Most of the time RB store has perch for sale.
This weekend on my Catfish Calendar, Sat & Sun are both YC (YellowCat & Gator Gar). It is a 3 day run on Yellows as to my LPC days pattern, from Sat-Mon. But also, as to YC days, the Blues also hit great. See my- Lynn's Catfish Calendar 2018 thread for more info.
I am hopin' to be at Limestone at RB Marina in April to run lines into May (pulling just before MD holiday).
