Do any of yall change your own?

I did some research and watched some videos. They made it look too easy and only 10 minutes. Is it really that easy?

Unscrew both drain holes
Drain oil
Fill oil from bottom hole
Put screw back in

Is that really it?

Where is the drain and plug gasket? And where do I purchase those?

Thanks for the input

Gaskets. They're not just rubber or neoprene o-rings. Yes, They LOOK like o-rings, but theyre designed to have some crush to them.

Yes, the gaskets on the drain plug and fill plug. Sometimes they come off with the plugs and sometimes they remain in the lower unit casing. They change just like any other gasket - pull them off, clean surfaces, install new gaskets. They can be purchased online or at the dealer for your outboard brand.

I had one leak one time after I changed the oil, but did not change the gaskets. Lesson learned.
