Thoughts/Opinions on these?

I am looking at a 1993 Ranger 392V. The owner said it is about 19.5ft and doesn't have the deck extension. Ranger Trail Trailer that is a single axle (Kind of a large/heavy boat for a single axle trailer...)

The engine is a FORCE 125hp. I have been watching Craigslist on re-power options if I buy it...I've found 200hp Mercury engines for less than $1800 and the hull is supposed to be able to handle this as well.

I am sure many people on this board have owned these. I've never owned a fiberglass boat before and I've heard it is a lot better in wind and stability compared to my previous Bass Trackers.

Alot of those models where on single axle trailers. As you aparently already know that boat is way under powered with that 125.
And yes a glass boat is more stable and does not drift in wind as much as Aluminum.
