watched a few episodes, anyone know if this will be a long term series or is it done.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

It was on last season and appears it may have picked up a few more sponsors this season compared to last year so looks like it may be around at least a little while. Once he gets more experience and stops calling the audience folks every time itll be better. roflmao

Also noticed that sometimes the what we used today section doesnt really show what they were using. Saw underspins tied on but nothing said about them. If youre going to be an amateur pot licker ya gotta pay attention! roflmao roflmao roflmao

I think I've watched most of the shows. They are OK to pretty good, depending who and where they are fishing.
I'm not a fan of the spider rigging shows because I don't know anything about that technique. Looks boring to me,
and I know I'd have stuff so knotted up that I'd be done in about 30 min. I like the spring/summer shows, and the
slip bobber shows. I like the different 'languagues' that crappie fisherman use around the country.
I like Brushpile more than watching Wally Wonderful...I cant get enough info on dock shooting, that's my next
learning adventure. As far as all fishing shows goes, there's a lot more out there must less tolerable than
Brushpile...any fishing show is better than none...

On the web site for the show, it has 4 seasons worth of shows to watch. Seasons 1-3 have 13-14 episodes. It looks like this is Season 4 as there's only 5 with the 6th on its way.

It's ok. Too much product placement and not enough fishing for me but it's better than nothing. I liked it more when it was Midwest crappie because it had more fishing. With the amount on products on the shows, I would think it is here to stay for a while.

Agree...dont know who decides the content of the product placement, although, I liked the one Bonehead plug I saw, the Wally wonderful needs vast upgrades...and way more fishing, with less but more effective advertising, tied to the products actually used on the show (regardless of Wally or not)...a more diverse ad products group is a good thing...to me...I dislike the ads so much, I just pause, then fast forward through them.

that guy russ is sure getting plenty of free fishing trips, unless they pay the boat owner for taking him. roflmao

I particularly liked the one with the duck commander dude, the one with duck jerky, and another one where they were fishing some shallow brush with those non Wally type rods...not so keen on the follow the tourney contestants around/weigh-in or catfish shows. He really seems to groove out on dock shooting shows, gets all excited.

Brush Pile TV has it's moments for sure.
So much better than ICE Fishing for Muskies.
Just so many fishing shows that I personally cannot relate to.
I love anything Crappie and Catfishing.

Wes and I filmed in Season 4, episodes 2 and 3. Russ is a great guy, and yes the show is backed well, and should be around for a good while.

I have the Russ Bailey 3 dvd's called Any Time, Any Place in any Water, Crappie. They are pretty good, and these were my introduction to Russ Bailey. I watch Brushpile Fishing shows on the internet cannot find them on Directv. I agree that he does use "Folks" way to much. Also agree spider rigging does not interest me either, hard to do in a 15 foot 1978 Ranger bass boat. I like doc shooting videos the best, with actual brush pile fishing next. The comment they sometimes use other jigs that are not mentioned in what they are using today is true, as I notice the jigs they are using too, and they do a good job of not showing the jigs on each catch.

I like it! I'd rather watch a crappie fishing show than any other fishing show. Little Man doesn't like watching Crappie Masters, he said he hasn't seen himself on there yet so they must not be that good! And that guy just goes around potlicking everybody!!! roflmao

it would be great if the show centered the theme on different lakes and the ways to best angle the crappie on that particular lake. Like a different lake every time,

tell them to come do a show on lake waco, and belton, tradinghouse, aquilla. Many different lakes, im sure theres alot to choose from. concentrate more on the lakes, and not techniques. we already know all that.. folks..

I also like the extreme crappie angler it has many different lakes. But like many of the shows they have to plug in for their sponsors.
