I'm small scale and not spraying fence lines and whatnot. I've have been using Garden Safe the past couple years. Active ingredient is Ammoniated soap of fatty acids. It a Herbicidal soap weed killer. Organic and works great for spot spraying. But it's damn near impossible to find this year. I did a bit a googling prior to posting and it looks like Bayer of all companies sell a product called Natria. Same amount of active ingredient as GS. I'm thinking Bayer bought the recipe from the GS company and why it's hard to find on the shelf this year. I have no proof of it yet. But for a good clean weed killer Ammoniated soap of fatty acids as the active is a good.

I got some Tractor Supply that works good. What do you use? Salt and white vinegar. Just dont spray it on the grass cause it will kill it too.

I've been buying Glyphosphate from Wilkinsons - put it in a sprayer at 1 1/2 times the strength & it killed ivy & bind "weedeater" in a few weeks. Enough for me to be able to tackle the ground. I just resprayed when any bindweed bits emerged & it seems to have done the trick

I found the cactus burner to be just as effective as roundup. Still hoe or pull in the garden

bindweed...???...i did a bindweed control project with the Foard/Hardeman county extension agency in the early '80's...nothing kills that stuff...maybe if you kill the ground but it will still come back in a few years...i get glyphosate at wallyworld for $15 / qt ... 41% active ingredient I've been buying Glyphosphate from Wilkinsons - put it in a sprayer at 1 1/2 times the strength & it killed ivy & bind "weedeater" in a few weeks. Enough for me to be able to tackle the ground. I just resprayed when any bindweed bits emerged & it seems to have done the trick

Monsanto produced Agent Orange and now Roundup. Said both were safe. How many Vets from Nam died of cancer? Buyer beware.
