Finally had 3 nice bites today after 3 days of only catching 3 small black Bass. Today we caught 3 nice ones on the East side of "Big Bass Point". One 2 lb 7 oz, one 3 lb 3 oz, and one bugle mouthed bass at 6 lb 6.5 oz. All three were in about 6 feet of water and hit a white, single, large bladed spinner bait with a twin tailed trailer. Hope this helps some of you like me, who are fishing LRR for the first time.
Edit PS: I forgot to mention the lake temp was 56-60.8 degrees, depending upon where you were. The back of community cove, W shore of Johnson Branch was the warmest at 60.8. Water clarity seems to be getting better, but many areas still murky.

Yes! We are in an RV in Johnson Branch and fished the area hard Saturday and Sunday. Sunday afternoon is when 3 of us each caught 1 bass. Mine was on a Rattle trap, 2lb 11 oz.

Ha ha Ken!! It hates you back!! LOL! Roberts can be frustrating, but I've caught lots of nice fish outta there!! Just hard to run safely, so you can't move around it as quickly as some lakes.
