Never have to injure the fish by tearing a hole in their mouth. This system is used by Mark Rose and keeps to fish calm decressing stress. They are on a great sale right now.

From the TPWD,,,, put the fish in the livewell and it counts towards your daily possession?

Possession of Fish Taken from Public Water
Any fish caught must be taken by legal means and methods.

Fish caught and immediately released are not considered to be in your possession. Any fish not immediately released that are retained by using any type of holding device such as stringer, cooler, livewell, or bucket are considered in your possession and must adhere to established protected length and bag limits.

While fishing, it is illegal to be in possession of more fish than the daily bag limit or fish that are within a protected length limit.

In order to verify length and species, a fish caught may not have the head or tail removed and may not be filleted until an angler finally lands the catch on the mainland, a peninsula, or barrier island not including jetties or piers and does not transport the catch by boat. For broadbill swordfish and king mackerel, the head or tail may be removed but the remainder of the carcass must remain intact and may not be filleted. For sharks, only the head may be removed. The remainder of the carcass (including the tail) must remain intact and may not be filleted.

Any fish taken from public water and landed by boat or person in Texas must adhere to the protected length limits and daily bag and possession limits established for those fish in Texas, regardless of the state or country in which they were caught.

The bag limit for a guided fishing party is equal to the total number of persons in the boat licensed to fish or otherwise exempt from holding a license minus each fishing guide and fishing guide deckhand multiplied by the bag limit for each species harvested.

Not to hi-jack the thread, but why are people so worried about putting a small hole in a fishes mouth? Done right, you can't even see a hole. I don't get it.

I just started using the AccuCull Elites. They are easy to put on and take off with one hand while you're holding the fish in the other. They stayed attached to 14-16 inch fish during my last tournament all day, and I balance-beamed a few of them while culling by running the hooks of my balance beam through the circular opening of the cull tags. The clips held the small fish just fine. I later tested the same method on a 4.5 lb fish and the clip again held tight. So far so good, though I'm concerned about the long-term durability of the clips. They seem tough but they're still just plastic.

Those look like a pain to use while culling. With a normal culling system, you can hold a bunch of fish in 1 hand by just hanging onto the cords

You also have to store these bags somewhere; most of the new culling systems can be screwed into the lid of the livewell, freeing up some storage space and never having to dig them out with a fish in my hand. That's one thing I like about the G-Force, although I'm not wild about its "cinch down the clip" design.

Let me think about this , you just set the hook so hard on a Bass , your partner falls out of the boat due to the hook set , the scream from you during the hook set is so loud any wildlife near by dies from a heart attack , we are concerned about another hole in their mouth . Comes On Guys !!!!!
