I've been using good old Berkley Big Game. X2 The Big Game is one tough line, and it casts well with not a lot of memory. It works, and I've tried other lines and went back.
Just one more cast!

I use the Cabelas Salt Striker 30lb mono for just about everything between cats and light offshore stuff. +1...Great minds think alike!

Ok this is old school but some plain Stren is hard to beat. It is tough and the fluorescent kind makes it easy to see your line as a bunch of fish bite that many fishermen never realize hits. Yes I watch my line while catfishing.
