Just got back to Texas after 25 years in Colorado. I've done nothing buy fly fish the Rockies for the last two decades and the Crappie seem to be more of a challange than I thought. Any help would be appericated.

They are in the Canals right now. Find some of the canals off the main lake. Throw a road runner up against the bulk heads. Reel it slow and be ready. You have to be lightning fast with setting they hook on those buggers. You should catch anywhere between 1-2 an hour depending.

Fishing is very good right now on brushpiles in 15' or less. Hang a jig on top of brush.

Bobby,

Other than putting in the time to find the piles are there any resources to speed up that process?
